| Biography : Reinaldo Martinez was born in San Elizario, Texas. He was raised in the El Paso County farming community where he attended San Elizario and Ysleta Public Schools. Reinaldo served in the United States Marine Corps for four years during the Korean Conflict. Later he came back to El Paso where he attended New Mexico A & M University and later graduated from the University Of Texas at El Paso. He was first licensed as an agent in 1960 and in 1970 acquired his Real Estate Brokers License. In his first years in Real Estate he sold mostly new homes in the Cedar Grove and Thomas Manor Subdivisions on a part time basis. At the same time Reinaldo was involved with contract administration in the acquisition of homes, commercial and industrial properties in the Chamizal area for the United States Government, while also involved in acquiring properties for the construction of the Amistad Dam in the Del Rio, Texas area. After getting his Real Estate Broker’s License he was mostly involved in small subdivision development and the selling of lots, farm land and commercial in El Paso Community. In 1994 he went full time managing approximately 300 rental properties for Century 21, DKD Associates for the three years. In 1997 Reinaldo went full time in sales until the present. During his tenure at Century 21, DKD he continuously achieved annually the Masters program that included, Diamond, Emerald and Centurion Awards. Most of the sales were new homes on the west side and Horizon City, re-sales on all areas of El Paso County with some commercial and land. In 2004, He partnered and opened American Dream Real Estate. For the next two years approximately ninety percent of sales were new homes with the other ten percent in re-sale and land. He sold his share of the company in 2006 and expanded OPTIONS Realty which operated mostly as a rental and combined it with full scale sales office. He has been a designated agent for Carefree Homes for the past eight years.
